The 182 Airlift Wing, Peoria, IL intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price (FFP) contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for Project Number: 202500621, B280 Replace Mechanical and Plumbing located at the 182 Airlift Wing, Peoria, IL. Work of this contract comprises of providing all materials, tools, equipment, supervision and labor necessary to: CLIN0001 Base Bid – Men’s & Women’s Restrooms, 1 Job. CLIN0002 Base Bid – Janitor’s Sink and Water Fountain, 1 Job. CLIN0003 Base Bid – Maintenance Bays Water Supply. 1 Job. CLIN0004 Option 1 – Install Water Softener. 1 Job. CLIN0005 Option 2 – Demolish and Replace HW Piping System. 1 Job. CLIN0006 Option 3 – Replace Boiler. 1 Job. CLIN0007 – Option 4 – Remove and Replace Underground Plumbing. 1 Job. The contract duration is 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This project is set aside 100% for Historically Underutilized Disadvantaged Small Businesses, i.e. (HUBZones). The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $45.0 million average annual revenue for the previous three (3) years. The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $250,000 and $500,000 in accordance with FAR 36.204. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 8 May 2025. The tentative date for the pre-bid conference is on or about 08 May 2025 at 1300 at the 182 Airlift Wing, Supply Building #728, LRS Classroom, Illinois Air National Guard Base, Peoria, IL. There will be a site visit after the pre-bid conference. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference and should register in accordance with the requirements to be provided in the upcoming solicitation for clearance to the facility. A site visit will follow each pre-bid conference. Directions and instructions for entering the base will be provided in the solicitation package. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A SOLICITATION. (2) Data for the prior 3 fiscal years regarding the time required to definitize equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts for the National Guard is currently not available, but will be compiled and provided in future announcements. This solicitation is a competitive bid and there will be a formal public bid opening.
