Presolicitation Notice Alteration of Building 321 ASOS Gym Total Small Business Set-Aside NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction The USPFO for Illinois intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a single firm fixed- price contract for non-personal services to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to perform and complete a) Excavate, prepare site, and pour a 6' x 8 ' concrete slab behind B321, b) Trench and install approximately 375 feet of 1 inch underground natural gas line from existing service to the rear of the building. Provide and install gas regulator and gas meter, c) provide and install a minimum 15T package air handling unit with associated ductwork to condition 6000 sq feet of gym space, d) provide and install electrical and natural gas service to new AHU, e) provide and install spray-on foam insulation and thermal barrier in B321, and f) construct 3 hour firewall to separate spaces. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Construction/contract completion time is 59 days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220. The small business size standard is $39.5 million. This is a total small business set-aside. The tentative date for issuing the Request for Proposal solicitation is on or about 6 July 2020. The tentative date for the pre-proposal conference is on or about 15 July 2020, 9:00AM local time at the 182nd Airlift Wing, 2416 S. Falcon Blvd, Peoria, IL 61607. Interested contractors are highly encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation.
