This is a notice that the 126th Air Refueling Wing (126 ARW), Air National Guard intends to award a contract for Type C Services for Bldg 5010 at Scott AFB. The original A&E plans were created by BAILEY EDWARD DESIGN, INC. on Delivery Order W91SMC14D0002 0004 in the amount of $76,826.94. Per National Guard Bureau Procurment Implementation Memorandum (PIM) 2023-01 Rev. 1 Architect-Engineer Construction Management (Type C) Services states "Type C services and if necessary, Code and Criteria Review and Procurement Support services, shall be awarded as separate contract actions from the Types A and B services, and not included as options in the design award. The Type C andother support services should be accomplished via a sole source award to the Designer of Record (DoR) prior to or concurrent with award of the construction contract." BAILEY EDWARD DESIGN, INC. is the Designer of Record for Bldg 5010, the 126th ARW is intent on awarding a contract in the amount of $58,500.00 using FAR 13.106-1 (b) limited sources procedures, this notice serves as the government’s justification and determination that only one source is reasonably available.
