Mod 1: Correct solicitation due dates The purpose of this project is to replace an aging fire suppression system that requires continuous maintenance, especially in the winter months when the deteriorating pipe material fails. In addition to keeping the warehouse from freezing and causing the suppression system piping to burst, the warehouse houses cleaning equipment and HVAC chemicals that need to be kept above 40 degrees Fahrenheit, therefore we will be installing a heating system to keep it to that minimum temperature. Quoting clins, important note: The government might not have enough funds to cover both ascepts of this soliciation, as the scope has changed. The government is asking that Contractors break out heating as an option CLIN. If the government has funds to cover both ascepts, the government will do so. If not, then the government will only award the Fire Systems repair.
