Synopsis: Notice of intent to award a service contract with Uhl Company. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), 13-106(1)(b)(1)(i), Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The 133rd Airlift Wing of the Minnesota Air National Guard (MNANG) has a requirement to upgrade current Universal Network Controllers (UNC) on existing Schneider Electric EcoStruxure system in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. The 133rd AW is under the impression that the described requirement is a Sole Source requirement.
