The Contractor shall furnish all services, to include labor, transportation, equipment, tools, and materials in all operations to replace carpeting/flooring in building 1228 and 1217. This scope of work is intended to be a general description of the work to be accomplished in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW), Instruction to Offerors and all other associated attachments. The DC Air National Guard has selected one carpet model from each of the one of the 7 Tier I Contractors associated with the Carpet II mandatory Air Force Wide IDIQ. These models are like items so that they are compared equally in the competitive evaluation process. The carpet selections will apply to both building associated with this project. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors (Tier II Contractors) to contact the aforementioned Tier I Contractors for material quotes and orders. The Tier II Contractors shall choose one of the aforementioned 7 carpet selections and negotiate with the Tier I Contractor. Once the negotiation is complete, the installer shall provide a quote in response to solicitation W50S6W-23-Q-0004 that includes the price for the carpet and adhesives per square foot. A site visit will be held on 26 April 2023 at 1000hrs. Submit names of all attendees to Captain Michael Mcdowell Jr. no later than 19 April 2023 at 1200hrs. All attendees will meet at 9:30am Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 26 April 2023 in the Main Visitor Center, Joint Base Andrews, MD. The deadline for submittal of questions regarding this solicitation is 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 3 May 2023. Answers will be provided to all offerors via email no later than (NTL) 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 10 May 2023. Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is as follows: 1. Upload the Questions and Answers document as a result of the site visit. 2. Provide floor plans for each building 3. Add the verbiage "to include wall base" for each building. All other items remain unchanged. Amendment 0002: The purpose of this amendment is as follows: 1. Reiterate that interested offerors shall include new "wall base/cove base/kick guard" replacement comensurate with the new carpet they intend to install. This cost should be included in your offer. This requirement is listed in the amended statement of work that was posted in Amendment 0001. All other items remain unchanged.
