The District of Columbia (DC) Air National Guard has a requirement for services to perform inspections, maintenance and repairs of the aircraft sun shades installed at JBA. The Contractor shall Inspect, maintain and repair aircraft sun shades, to include: structure, fabric (as applicable), lights, electric, bird nesting mitigation, lightning protection, obstruction lighting, safety reflective devices, fall protection and any other base-unique attached features, as applicable. More information of the requirement is listed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). This notice of intent is not a request for quote/proposal. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein the PWS may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement being requested by 2359 ET on 10 Dec 2021. Responses must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist, Captain Michael McDowell Jr. michael.mcdowell.14@us.af.mil , no later than the time and date noted above. Telephone responses and requests will not be received. Additionally, potential vendors are encouraged to provide suggested acquisition strategies that they deem to be appropriate to satisfy a requirement of this nature. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
