Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (IAW FAR 12.603) This is a combined COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for a Mobile Shelving System for the District of Columbia (DC) Air National Guard. This announcement is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and Part 13 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) W50S6W-20-Q-5006. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the website for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to the solicitation. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract as a result of this solicitation. The associated North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337215, “Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing,” with a size standard of 500 Employees. This is a 100% small business set-aside. This requirement shall require offerors to supply and install one (1) mobile shelving system to the following location: Ship to address: 2489 East Perimeter Road Andrews AFB, MD 20762 Installation shall be completed within 90 calendar days of contract award. ***FAR provision 52.237-1, Site Visit*** Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. A site visit will be held on 1 September 2020 at 1:00pm EST on Joint Base Andrews, MD.
