Sole Source Acquisition for contract number W50S6V25PA009, Recruiting Advertising Recruiting Advertising within the Denvo Metro Area Authority permitting this action, 10 U.S. Code § 3204 - Use of procedures other than competitive procedures RTD is the exclusive provider of bus transportation for Boulder, Denver, and the Denver metropolitan area. Lamar Advertising is the sole contractor authorized to manage advertising on RTD buses. Direct confirmation from RTD has verified Lamar's exclusive partnership for on-vehicle advertising. Consequently, due to this exclusive agreement with RTD, Lamar is the only contractor capable of fulfilling this advertising acquisition. This notice is posted in accordance with applicable regulations for the government-wide point of entry. Based on previous contracts of a similar nature, the Contracting Officer determined the provided pricing to be fair and reasonable. Market research, as required by FAR Part 10, was conducted to ascertain the market's ability to satisfy this requirement. This process involved inlcuded a comprehensive review of available sources, assessment of vendor capabilities, and analysis of potential alternatives. The outcome of this research demonstrated that only one vendor possesses the necessary capabilities, justifying a sole source acquisition.
