Questions and Answers posted ***Please note SOLICITATION CLOSING DATE: Wednesday, July 27, 2022**** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. All responsible source(s) solicited may submit a quote that shall be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect in the Federal Acquisition Regulation and applicable supplements on the date this solicitation was issued. In order to be considered for award, vendor must adhere to all quotation requirements detailed herein. Submit written quotes in reference to all required items contained in this Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06 effective 26 May 2022, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation effective 28 April 2022, and AFARS Revision 31 May 2022. The NAICS code for this requirement is 721110 – Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels, and the applicable size standard is no more than $35,000,000.00. The Product Service Code (PSC) designation is V231 – Transportation/Travel/Relocation- Travel/Lodging/Recruitment: Lodging, Hotel/Motel. Evaluation of the quote will be based on price only with conforming technical approach: meaning that the government will have reasonable assurance that the proposed contractor is fully capable of meeting the requirement of the performance work statement. SOLICITATION CLOSING DATE: Wednesday, July 27, 2022 SOLICITATION CLOSING TIME: 10:00 AM CST Quotations received after solicitation close and/or incomplete quotations that do not contain all of the stated solicitation submittal requirements will not be considered for award. Vendor quotations shall be valid for at least 30 days after the solicitation close date. All other inquiries or questions resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation, shall also be directed to the point of contact listed above. Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform Services for Arkansas Air National Guard (ARANG) Strong Bonds Training Event, which includes providing lodging, meeting facilities, meals, and beverage services to accommodate 3 support staff, 18 military couples, and 1 therapy dog; or approximately 39 attendees. The contractor shall provide fully furnished lodging, dining, and meeting facilities, which may include some audio visual, and internet support, as defined in this PWS. The 188 Mission Support Group Contracting Office, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for these services. Please see the attached PWS (Attachment 1) for full technical requirements of the Strong Bonds Training Event Services. Complete the unit prices/extended amounts for all items on attachment 3 – Schedule of Items. Period of Performance (PoP): The Period of Performance shall be one designated weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) between the dates of delivery: 26-28 AUGUST 2022 Performance shall be at a no less than 3-star hotel or resort at a location to be determined, but must be in close proximity to downtown Hot Springs, AR 71901. This event will be a designated weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) which will begin at check-in (approximately 3:00PM) on Friday afternoon/evening, and end on Sunday afternoon (approximately 2:00PM).
