The USPFO for Alabama intends to issue and Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the repair and renovation of the Hangar Bldg. 1201 in Montgomery, AL (Montgomery County). The existing structure was built in 1952 and has undergone multiple renovations since its original construction. The project scope includes but is not limited to the complete renovation of the ground floor while the existing second floor spaces will undergo a partial renovation. This project will include the following seven bid options and four brand name-sole source requirements: Bid-Option: Additional plumbing piping replacement. Bid-Option: Installation of additional metal retrofit roof system, spray foam insulation, and new roof panels indicated in lieu of the thermoplastic roof assembly. Bid-Option: Removal of existing wood doors on the 2nd floor, and replacement with new wood faced doors. Bid-Option: Provide and install acoustical baffles in rooms 107, 108A, and 109B. Bid-Option: Provide and install new acoustical tile ceiling systems in second floor areas, as well as provide and install new floor finishes in second floor areas. Bid-Option: Provide and install new floor finishes in indicated corridors, provide and install new painted sheetrock and linear open wood ceiling systems specified in indicated area, provide and install new wall mounted lighting sconces and new recessed down lights as indicated, and provide and install custom way finding signage. Bid-Option: Provide and install new linear open wood ceiling system in Multi-Purpose room 247, as well as provide and install new metal stud framing, substrate, and wall tile surrounding the architectural casework in this room. Advantor: Air Force/NGB certified security system. The place of performance will be Dannelly Field Air National Guard Base, Montgomery, AL. All security requirements for working on a military installation will be followed. The contract duration is 365 days after NTP. This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236210, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00. The magnitude is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.
