The magnitude of the project has decreased to the range of $250,000 and $500,000.*** The 176th Air Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for Repair Engineering & Contracting Offices, at the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK. Work consists of the repair of building 7246 (see attached for Draft SOW and draft attachments). The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the offer is required. The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 6 months after notice to proceed for the base contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This will be a total small business set- aside. The small business size standard is $36.5 million average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is TBD. Actual date of time of closing will be identified in the solicitation. An organized site visit will be coordinated and announced, at the latest, if the solicitation is posted.
