This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of large and small business prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 423340 The 176 Wing at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Alaska is searching for respondents who are capable of providing the following: The requirement is for (1) asset tracking system that is capable of keeping inventory of Air Force military rescue gear and equipment. The system will provide accountability, life cycle management, asset management, maintenance tracking, and inventory of all equipment at any given time. The system must achieve or surpass the following salient characteristics: Hardware consisting of: Laptop Touch monitor Wireless scanner/tagging device Signature Pad CAC Card reader UPS A/V Cart Backup/backup drive Software that can provide the following functions: Utilize/support AF Forms 1297, 105 and 629. Forms should be populated automatically/printed while also updating the database synchronously Ability to customize reports to fit organizational needs Ability to sort inventory lists by personnel, different groups or types of equipment Ability to provide statuses for equipment, to include maintenance status ***IMPORTANT NOTE: This system will be utilized on the Air Force Network (AFNET) and must be listed on the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Approved Products List (APL) to be considered for any future requirements. The APL can be accessed at the following location: https://aplits.disa.mil/processAPList.action As part of our market research we are issuing a Sources Sought to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested vendors capable of providing this requirement. No formal Request For Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Interested suppliers are encouraged to submit an e-mail providing the following information: a. Qualifications/capabilities b. Past performance (description of service, contract number, and provide customer POC and their contact number) c. Business size/Socioeconomic status d.
