Repair Backup Power, Hangar 11 W50S6L-21-B-0001 The 176th Air Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for repairing the backup power system in Hangar 11, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK. BASE BID: Install Permanent Generator, Hangar 11 OPTIONAL BID ITEM: Install adequate power from Hangar 11 (Building 16430) to adjacent container facility off southwest corner of Hangar 11 The magnitude of the project (including options) is between $100,000 and $250,000. A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the offer is required. The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 150 days after notice to proceed for the base bid, and 120 days after notice to proceed for the optional bid item (if exercised). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This will be a total small business set- aside. The small business size standard is $39.5 million average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 30 July 2021, and the actual date/time of closing will be identified in the solicitation. An organized pre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled for 2 August 2021 starting at 0800 at 7252 Gibson Ave on JBER. At 0800, 176CES personnel and interested parties will convoy from the 176CES parking lot at 7252 Gibson Ave to bldg. 17441 to begin the first of four site visits for that day: 0800-0850: Bldg. 17441 Repair O&T Offices and Storage (21B0004) 0900-0930: Hangar 18 Construct ISO Canopy (21B0002) 0940-1010: Bldg. 17456 ADAL Services Storage Bldg.
