This action has been identified on the National Guard priority list for awards if funds become available and the prices received are within an awardable range ** Repair Various Items, Hangar 18 W50S6L-20-B-00017 The 176th Air Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for repair of various items in Hangar 18, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK. BASE BID: See attached draft SOW for list of repair items. OPTION 1: Renovate flying operations desk area in Room 211. OPTION 2: Convert Room 115 and adjacent room of Hangar 18 into kitchen/breakroom area. Draft Drawings and specifications will be added to this presolicitation notice when completed The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 - $500,000. A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the offer is required. The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 90 days after notice to proceed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This will be a total small business set- aside. The small business size standard is $36.5 million average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 12 August 2020, and the solicitation will be posted for at least 30 calendar days.
