Posting the OF 1419 abstract of bidders ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17 Aug - Corrected the SF1442 - no changes to Solicitation. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- FTQW21-2030, Repair Communications Facility HVAC The USPFO for Alaska issues an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary for the repair of a HVAC system by utilizing conventional design and construction methods to accommodate the mission of the facility. The work includes renovation of the existing HVAC system including the addition of mechanical cooling (air conditioning) to increase occupant comfort, particularly in the summer months. IT also includes reconfiguration of the ductwork and registers in the server room to maximize cooling effectiveness for temperature sensitive equipment. All HVAC systems will be rebalanced and recommissioned, with controls fully integrated to Eielson’s central system. Work is located at Eielson Air Force Base Alaska. The contract duration is approximately 270 days after Notice to Proceed, and will be further specified in the IFB. This project is set aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) is 238220, with a size standard of $16,500,000. IAW FAR 36.204(e), the magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
