This is a pre-solicitation notice for Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Contstruction. The general scope of work includes transportation services encompassing barge delivery and placement of approximately 16,000 tons of riprap and aggregate, and 13,600 sq. yards of geotextile fabric combined with bioengineering for approximately 2,000 feet of bank stabilization to include 3,000 cubic yards of soil fill, 2,200 sq. yards of geogrid, and tree/shrub planting on the Tennessee River at Moccasin Bend Archaeological District in Chattanooga, TN immediately upstream of the Moccasin Bend Golf Course facility. The placement is to be accomplished from the river. Peripheral tasks include very limited excavation, clearing - with debris and excavated material removal via barge, and implementation of temporary erosion control measures.This contract falls under NAICS code 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Contstruction) and PSC Code Y1QA (Construction Of Restoration Of Real Property).
