The US Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal intends to enter a Firm Fixed-Price contract on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement will be for the production and delivery of Giraffe 1X (G1X) radars. The intended source is Saab, Inc., 5717 Enterprise Parkway, East Syracuse, NY, 13057. This North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this pocurement is 334511. This notice of intent to award a sole source action is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
