NOTICE FOR JOINT AIR-TO-GROUND MISSILE (JAGM) This is a synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.101 for the following contract modification. This synopsis is not a request for proposal or information, and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone (ACC-RSA) has a requirement for the acquisition of a maximum quantity of 3,000 (1,500 in FY20 and 1,500 in FY21) JAGM missiles in containers in support of the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and special customers. Additionally, this requirement consists of air trainer missiles, qualified test assets, and initial spares to support the JAGM system. This requirement will result in the award of two 12-month option periods of performance to support the JAGM requirement. This requirement is restricted to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, 5600 W Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32819. Interested sources should contact the prime contractor directly. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This acquisition was originally synopsized on 17 January 2017. This contract modification is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements." A determination by the Governmnet not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
