The SHIELD Project Office is conducting market research via this RFI to identify potential sources capable of providing comprehensive engineering and technical services for the Avenger Weapon System and all derivative systems; no contract award is intended and the government will not pay for information submitted. The contractor must have full required capability at the start of the performance period, as partial solutions will not be considered, and support includes complex system engineering, integration, software development, testing, reliability/failure analysis, logistics, training/fielding, quality assurance, and cybersecurity. Personnel requirements include Field Service Representatives with weapon system operation, sustainment, and maintenance expertise, and contractor employees must hold and maintain a Secret security clearance. The contractor will also be responsible for safe, efficient, compliant operation and maintenance of Avenger Weapon Systems and sites, with potential deployment/support at multiple locations, including Foreign Military Sales countries. Responses must be unclassified, address business information, capability questionnaire, and financial capability, and may mark proprietary portions; questions may be directed to the Army Contracting Command point of contact for up to 7 days after publication, and email submission is required.
