The US Army Contracting Command – Redstone, CCAM-MLP, Redstone Arsenal, AL, is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties interested in and capable of manufacturing the Gyro-Optics Assembly, NSN: 1420-01-6869216, to support the HELLFIRE Missile System. This requirement is to establish a firm fixed price contract for a one-time buy for the following: NOUN: Gyro-Optical Assembly, PRON: 13688208, NSN: 1420-01-6869216, P/N: D14V1022, Quantity: 151 each, applicable to the HELLFIRE Missile System, F.O.B. Destination with delivery to (W90BWX) XR W1DF AVIATION-MISSILE RDEC, BLDG 5400 LINDNER RD, WEST SELA WING HIGH BAY, REDSTONE ARSENAL, AL 35898-5000. Contractor First Article Testing is required. This requirement is other than full and open competition. One contract will be awarded as a result of this requirement. The associated NAICS Code is 336419. The solicitation will be issued on or about 1 April 2025. This item is restricted to Lockheed Martin Corporation (CAGE Code 04939), 5600 W Sand Lake Road #MP-265, Orlando, Florida 32819-8907 because the government will acquire the item directly from the actual manufacturer. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, cannot be obtained economically, and is not possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material from a competitive source. Even though this item is restricted, your Company may submit documentation as evidence that you can manufacture this item and fulfill the test procedures. Interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities statement no longer than one (1) page in Times New Roman font, size 10. This documentation must address at a minimum the following items: 1.) Description of the same or similar work your company has performed in the past to manufacture the same or similar requirement. 2.) Explanation of your company’s ability to perform at least 50% of the tasking described, in compliance with FAR 52.219-14. 3.) Company information: name, CAGE / SAM UEI, business size (small or large) for respective NAICS per sam.gov Reps & Certs (FAR / DFARS), FAR 52.219-1. 4.)
