The Systems Readiness Directorate is looking to procure Ti-6Al-4V (Ti64) samples to perform follow-on corrosion testing. GE Additive will manufacture four build layouts to print a total of 200 samples for corrosion evaluation as a supplemental effort to the Additive Material Property Evaluation and Demonstration (AMPED) program established with AMCOM. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W31P4Q-22-Q-0005 is to be a Sole-Source procurement to GE Additives of West Chester, Ohio in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): (b) Soliciting from a single source. (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold . The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 332117. The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone is soliciting a quote from, GE Additives of West Chester, Ohio for the purchase of the following items: Item Number: 1 Part Description: Laser Development Printing Quantity: 1 Additionally, this equipment must meet the requirements stated below: Machine: M2 Series 4+ Alloy: Ti6AI4V; Coupon Count: 200 Samples (comprised of vertical and 45 degree orientation samples); Post Processing: Powder Evac, Stress Relief, Build Plate Removal, Support Removal, HIP (50% of total coupons), Visual Inspection, Shipping; and Projected Shipment of 200 Samples from GE to AvMC in 8-10 weeks after acceptance of Order.
