T... THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS A SYNOPSIS (SUMMARY). THE SOLICITATION PERTAINING TO THIS NOTICE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THIS NOTICE. The Army Contracting Command-Redstone has a sole source requirement for the acquisition of sixty (60) Model No: 13306100, Top Assembly Missile Simulation Rounds (MSRs), to include shipping. Additionally, this material must meet the requirements stated below: Material for weighting/center of gravity is: Urethane. T-981 or equivalent. Part A 60G, Part B 100G. Center of Gravity: X = 23.05 +/- .40 , Y = .30 +/- .16 , Z = .15 +/- .16 [inches] Round total weight is 35.35 pounds +/- 5% MSR shall be in accordance with MIS-42586. This requirement will be solicited as a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) to Pentar Inc. 2102-A West Ferry Way Huntsville, Alabama 35801-5340. Pentar Inc. is identified as the only vendor able to provide the Missile Simulation Rounds. Solicitation number W31P4Q-21-Q-0022 is to be a firm fixed price acquisition, in accordance with FAR Part 15. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 334513. CLIN 0001 will be issued for 60 each Model No: 13306100, Top Assembly, Missile Simulation Rounds (MSR), CLIN 0002 will be issued for shipping to Redstone Arsenal AL 35898. All responsible concerns may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Contract award is anticipated on or about 13 September 2021.
