The Army Contracting Command-Redstone has a requirement for a sole source award for a Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) definitive contract. This requirement will be a one-time acquisition to provide DroneDefender equipment. Performance requirements are expected to be within the Continental United States (CONUS). The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). The requirement will be restricted to Battelle, 505 King Ave Columbus, OH 43201. Since the U.S. Army does not own the Product Level 3 Technical Data Package (TDP), the Product Level 3 TDP cannot be provided to any interested parties unless a request is directed to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Battelle. However, interested parties or persons may identify their interest(s) and capabilities to respond to the requirement and/or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon Market Research, the Government is not utilizing the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. Any interested parties or person(s) may identify to the procuring contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this synopsis. Data Requested The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, on behalf of Counter, Rocket, Artillery, Mortar Project Directorate, requires the procurement of the following in support of Foreign Military Sales Case: 7U-B-UAA. 40 each DroneDefender V1lF Systems (P/N: B-DD-021-LFE10) 40 each DroneDefender Test Pucks (P/N: B-DD-TP1) 40 each DroneDefender V1LF Training DVDs (P/N: B-DD-TP-021) 13 each DroneDefender V1LF Field Service Kits (P/N: B-DD-FSK-021-LFE10) The purpose of this RFI is to identify whether potential sources are capable of providing DroneDefender V1LF Systems, DroneDefender Test Pucks, DroneDefender V1LF Field Service Kits and DroneDefender V1LF Training DVDs. Interested sources who have the technical knowledge of the items and are capable of providing the items should respond to this notice describing their ability to meet the government requirements. The response should include the production lead time and identify each item as either commercial or military. All proprietary material should be clearly marked and will be held in the strictest confidence. All submissions shall include the full company name, Commercial and Government, Entity (CAGE) code, mailing address, business size (large or small) and the appropriate point of contact information.
