Notice of intent to award sole source: The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price contract for one (1) Model CFP010 Standard Flow Calibrator, manufactured by CompuFlow Solutions to the original equipment manufacturer, CompuFlow Solutions, LLC, Post Office Box 40414, Mesa, AZ 85274 (Cage Code 1XMG9) on behalf of the U.S. Army TMDE Activity (USATA) office. The Contractor shall provide one (1) CFP010 Standard Flow Calibrator that acquires a 10 gallon per minute (gpm) liquid flow prover to perform primary level calibrations and to replace aging equipment. The CFP010 Standard Flow Calibrator that must have the following specifications: 1) the measurement technology must be a positive displacement liquid flow meters, 2) have a full scale flow of 10 gpm, 3) operate in continuous flow mode where the piston cycles without user interaction, and 4) measure the connecting volume temperature, and 5) heat and cool the working fluid in the reservoir. The period of performance for the contract will be 60 days after receipt of order, or as otherwise determined by the Contracting Officer. All interested responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be given due consideration by this agency. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(g)(1)(A) as implemented in Federal acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1). Notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. This synopsis shall not bind the Government and is for information purposes only.
