This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposal (RFP). TYAD has recurring requirements for ballistic hardware and is seeking qualified approved sources that have been qualified and approved as a source of supply by PM SPE with the capability to provide these items. The Government is seeking approved qualified vendors for the production of the unfinished Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH) ballistic bolt and ACH/Enhanced Combat Helmet (ECH) nut. Material: 139-00-0001U Screw, 10-32 Flat Head Rear, Unfinished - Revision “I” – 4340 Alloy Steel, Condition annealed per ASTM322, E-4340 Alloy Steel, Condition annealed per AMS 6415, Shall be a required hardness of 19-25HC,Remove all Burrs and Sharp edges, No Finish, Coat hardware with oil for rust prevention. 139-00-0002U Nut, 10-32Front Revision “B” - 4340 Alloy Steel, Condition annealed per ASTM322, E-4340 Alloy Steel, Condition annealed per AMS 6415, Shall be a required hardness of 19-25HC,Remove all Burrs and Sharp edges, No Finish, Coat hardware with oil for rust prevention.
