This is published as a sole source announcement under the statutory authority at 10 USC 3204(a)(1), and regulatory authority at FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tobyhanna Division, Tobyhanna Army Depot , Tobyhanna, PA 18466 intends to negotiate and award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to UGI Utilities, 1 UGI DR. Denver, PA 17517-9039, for natural gas transmission and distribution services to Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA 18466. The period of performance is: Base year to commence 1 June 2022 through 31 May 2023 with four (4) one-year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responsible firms believing that they can provide the required natural gas transmission and distribution services should contact the Point of Contact identified below within five (5) days of the publication of this notice and submit a capability statement describing the firm’s ability to provide the services described herein, which will be reviewed for consideration.
