Notice of Intent to Sole Source Woven Nylon Fabric The Army Contracting Command (ACC), Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Tobyhanna Division intends to negotiate with Brookwood Companies Incorporated of New York, NY on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) as the contracting officer has determined that they are the only source reasonable available for this procurement and no other sources are available to satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for Brookwood Companies Inc. SQUADRON-FR-TEX-5V549-00000-M-1-1. Brookwood Companies Inc. SQUADRON-FR-TEX-5V549-00000-M-1-1 is currently the only material that has passed Government Performance Qualification Testing (PQT) and authorized by US Army PEO Soldier. PQT included environmental and chemical tests. The NAICS code is 313210 - Broadwoven Fabric Mills with a small business size standard of 1,000 Employees. ACC-APG, Tobyhanna Division anticipates negotiating and awarding a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Brookwood Companies Incorporated. Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed above may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
