Letterkenny Army Depot is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources capable to support the requirement for the refurbishment to “like new” condition of the Heat Exchangers, 5999-01-564-8614, Raytheon P/N: 11472710 and Limco Airepair Inc. P/N: 10638000-3, that is used in the PATRIOT Radar RECAP Program. The Government does not possess the technical data package. The technical data package is proprietary to Limco Airepair, Inc. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a non-competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This sources sought is for informational purposes only. This is not a “request for proposal” to be submitted. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.
