DEVCOM-AC’s Munitions Engineering Technology Center at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is conducting market research to assess industry’s ability to manufacture and produce Pentolite, a sensitive secondary high explosive used for NOL Large and Extra-Large Scale Card Gap Tests and required to meet AOP-7 and DoW qualification specifications. Similar lower-grade material is produced for commercial mining and blasting, and such facilities may be able to accept a DoW contract for the higher-grade product. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit capabilities statements covering product compliance, historical contract experience, company details, business size, NAICS 325920/PSC 1375 information, and SAM registration.
