M739A1 Point Detonating/Delay (PD/DLY) Fuze

This is a description of the M739A1 PD/DLY Fuze, which is the primary fuze for 105mm and 155mm artillery projectiles used by SOCOM, the US Army, and the USMC. The fuze is composed of a solid aluminum body with five modular subassemblies and features an Impact Delay Module that provides a 3-6 millisecond initiation delay. Its outer surface is anodized green for EOD identification. The solicitation was amended, extending the response timeline.
