Question: Will a Certificate of Exemption be issued to a third party company operating as an authorized Government representative in the event of contract award? The Certificate of Exemption would be required in this case in support of lodging and meal requirements for this solicitation. Answer: Yes, a certificate of exemption will be provided by Army Contracting Command – NJ, after award, if requested. End Amendment 2. Begin Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to update the Combined Solicitation/Synopsis, extend the deadline to submit proposals from FRIDAY Nov 17, 2023 @ 2:00 PM EST to MONDAY Nov 20, 2023 @ 3:00 PM EST, and to answer questions from industry. All of the questions/answers and updates can be found in the provided attachment titled "W15QKN-24-Q-0YK0 Amendment 1_16NOV2023". The updates to the Combined Solicitation/Synopsis are highlighted in green. End Amendment 1 Army Contracting Command-New Jersey has a requirement in support of the 351st Military Police Company to procure lodging and meals accommodations in Ocala, FL. Lodging and meal provisions are required from 2 December 2023 through 5 December 2023; a specific breakout of dates and meals required can be found in the Statement of Work (SOW). The NAICS code for this effort is 721110 – Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels. For additional details please see the attached combined synopsis solicitation document W15QKN-24-Q-0YK0. All quotes shall be submitted by the deadline of 2:00 PM EST Friday 17 November 2023 in writing to the contract specialist Michael Carrano at michael.w.carrano.civ@army.mil.
