The U.S Army Contracting Command - New Jersey on behalf of Combat Capabilities Development Command - Armaments Center (DEVCOM-AC) Advanced Materials Technology Branch is in need of one (1) High-Temperature Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer (HT STA), one (1) Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) and one (1) Graphite Furnace: with options for one (1) High-Temperature Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer (HT STA), one (1) Tungsten furnace, One (1) Laser Flash Analyzer (up to 2800C) and one (1) Laser Flash Analyzer (up to 1600C). The new equipment purchase will require professional installation, training, equipment warranty, and on going maintenance and support. These items are needed to characterize and heat-treat materials to verify thermodynamic properties to ensure they meet mission requirements. The characterization of these materials will allow for the development of materials to enable novel capabilities for advanced munitions applications.
