The U.S. Army Contracting Command–New Jersey (ACC-NJ) located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager-Towed Artillery Systems (PM-TAS) intends to issue a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP), W15QKN-23-R-0038, for the manufacturing, testing, inspection, packaging, and delivery of 155mm Steel Tube Preforms in accordance with the Government’s Technical Data Package (TDP) and applicable contract requirements, which will be available upon solicitation release. The Steel Tube Preforms have an approximate 17.75-inch outer diameter, 6.5-inch inner diameter, and 157-inch length and will be used to support the modernization of the Army's 155mm cannon. The United States Government (USG) intends to award one (1) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract as a result of this competition. The total estimated quantity to procure will be 12 ea. 155mm Steel Tube Preforms. Please note, this announcement is issued for pre-solicitation notification purposes only and is not a formal request for competitive proposals, nor is the Government obligated to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses to this announcement are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government anticipates posting the RFP in 2QFY23.
