The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) - Armament Center, located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ has a requirement for yearly helium fills and maintenance for Bruker Biospin equipment. The Government intends to award one contract with four (4) option periods, on a sole source basis, to Bruker Biospin Corp., 15 Fortune Drive, Billerica, MA 01821, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Only the OEM is licensed to perform the services required. A Sole Source Justification was approved May 17, 2023 pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) asserting that Bruker Biospin Corp. is the only source capable of providing the required helium fill and equipment maintenance services; the redacted document is attached to this notice. The applicable NAICS for this effort is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance and the small business size standard is $12.5 million. All questions/responses must be received NO LATER than June 02, 2023 in writing. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
