Precision Armaments Laboratory (PAL) Tower Hoist Systems The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command- Armament Center (DEVCOM-AC), METC-DEVCOM-FPAD, intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) to MID-AMERICAN ELEVATOR COMPANY, Inc., 175 Prairie Lake Road, Unit A Lake Dundee, Illinois 60118 USA to purchase commercially available maintenance and support services for the Tower Hoist. The period of performance (PoP) shall be one year from contract execution and shall include one (1) base year and two (2) additional years for a total period of performance of three (3) years, if all options are exercised. This is a sole source RFP/RFQ in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR 13.106(b)(1). A Sole Source Justification was approved on April 25, 2022 pursuant to FAR13.106-1(b)(1) asserting that MID-AMERICAN ELEVATOR COMPANY, Inc., is the only source capable of providing the required maintenance and support services; the redacted document is attached to this notice. A redacted version of the justification and approval document is attached herein. The applicable NAICS for this effort is 561210 – Facility Support Services and the small business size standard is $41,500,000.00. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP/RFQ). Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFP/RFQ and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered quotes and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
