The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (CCDC) intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote to HBM PRENSCIA / Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer Inc, 19 Bartlett Street, Marlborough, MA, 01752-3014) pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for Reliasoft software for which they are the only provider for this software and the associated support. Reliasoft is a software platform that provides life data analysis, accelerated life testing, system reliability and maintainability analysis, probabilistic event and risk analysis, reliability growth models, and standards based reliability predictions. There are no other authorized vendors for this software. The resultant contract shall be awarded a period of performance of sixty months (5 years) from contract award, where the first 12 months (1 year) will focus on purchase of software and first year of maintenance, followed by 48 months (4 years) of annual maintenance for each license same requirement utilizing FAR Part 12 streamlined procedures. For this effort the contractor is to provide DEVCOM Armaments Center (AC) QE&SA Sciences Division with two (2) floating licenses of Blocksim (RBS10F) and software maintenance (RBS10F-SWMC) and one (1) floating license of Weibull++ (RW10F) and software maintenance (RW10F-SWMC). THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR QUOTE Further, this synopsis does not guarantee of a future RFQ and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered proposals/quotes, and, cannot be accepted by the Government to form a bidding contract.
