The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the Office of the Program Manager Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM-MAS), located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for the Cartridge, 5.56mm, M1042/M1071 Marking Ammunition. The marking cartridges are compatible with the Close Combat Mission Capability Kit (CCMCK). The CCMCK is a user installed weapons modification system that allows the Soldier to employ an individual weapon (M16/M4/M249) at short range using low velocity marking ammunition while precluding the weapon from firing standard service ammunition. The system will provide normal environmental/weapon employment cues (aiming, firing, ejection, immediate action, load, and re-load, etc.) and immediate target feedback through force-on-force, interactive live fire scenario task, and mission execution. This procurement is for a single award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) with five (5) 1 (one) year ordering periods, Sole Source, full-scale production contract to Ultimate Training Munitions, United Kingdom. The overall production contract shall include a minimum guarantee of $3,000,000.00 over the five (5) year contract term. This is a pre-solicitation notice and the Government anticipates that a formal solicitation will be issued on or about 16 October 2020.
