In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201(b), "For acquisitions of supplies and services other than those covered by the exceptions in 5.202 and the special situations in 5.205, the Contracting Officer must transmit a notice to the Government wide Point of Entry (GPE) for each proposed contract action meeting the threshold in 5.101(a)(i)." The U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey, on behalf of PM Soldier Weapons, intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract for Airtronic USA, LLC, pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price Delivery Orders to Airtronic USA, LLC, Spring Branch, TX. The Government anticipates requiring up to 1400 each Precision Shoulder-fired Rocket Launcher (PSRL) PSRL-1 40mm launchers and up to 26 each VirTra 100 Shooting Simulators. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332994 with the size standard of 1,000 employees. Please note this notice DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
