Pre-Solicitation Notice: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notification of the Government's expected solicitation release set for the date of on or around Wednesday 24 April 2019. The solicitation number will be W15KN19Q1178. Procurement Description: The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is procuring a new requirement for Snow and Ice Removal Services on behalf of the 99th Regional Support Command (RSC) in Brockton, MA. The Government intends to issue a solicitation under the Small Business Set-Aside (SBSA) preference for this requirement. The period of performance will be for 12 months from the effective date of award with four 12-month option periods. This requirement will be funded utilizing Operation and Maintenance - Army Reserve (OMAR) funds. The solicitation will result in a new Firm Fixed Price contract awarded to the lowest priced responsible, responsive offeror, whose approach meets the requirements of the solicitation. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel and other items necessary to provide snow and ice removal services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except as those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all federal, state and local regulations. ***Please note that this notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP).
