This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The Army Contracting Command-New Jersey has a requirement for refuse and recycling services at the Bowie U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC), 4600 Foxtail Place, White Plains, MD 20695 (MD066). The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel and other items necessary to provide refuse services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract. The period of performance for this effort shall be a 12-month base period and four, 12-month option periods. The purpose of this notice is to obtain the following information: (1) The availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) Whether they are a small or large business relative to their size classification under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition (562111) with a small business size standard of $38.5M. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is issuing this Sources Sought Notice in an effort to perform market research to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for Refuse and Recycling Services in White Plains, MD in support of the 99th Readiness Division. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price purchase order as a result of the solicitation to be issued. The period of performance is a twelve month base period and four, twelve month option periods. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel and other items necessary to provide custodial services.
