U.S. Army Contracting Command intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a firm fixed price contract to IONBOND LLC, 7856 McCloud Rd, Greensboro, NC 27409-9634-3537 for metal finishing parts (Titanium) with the following requirements: • The contractor shall provide a protective coating (Plasma Vapor Deposition Coating) to a variety of metal parts furnished by the Government (quantity 2,620 parts). The contractor shall apply Ionbond TC40/41 WCC+DLC or Equivalent, Color: Black, Thickness 0.002 to 0.004 Inches and deliver finished parts within eight (8) weeks of receipt. A Sole Source Justification and Approval (FAR 13.5) was approved 12 December 2018. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or proposal, which shall be considered by the Government. The NAICS code for this effort is 332812 and the small business sized standard is 500 employees. All questions/responses must be received NO LATER than 11 March, 2019 in writing.
