155MM Metal Parts Market Survey
The U.S. Army is conducting a market survey to identify manufacturers capable of producing and delivering four types of 155mm artillery projectile metal parts, with delivery starting in Fiscal Year 2029 and covering anticipated requirements through FY32. The government estimates purchasing approximately 36,000 M825A1 bodies and 12,000 M116A1 bodies over a five-year period. The work involves manufacturing specific steel assemblies, which includes processes like forging, welding, heat treatment, and applying protective coatings. Interested companies must demonstrate their production capacity, including the ability to meet minimum monthly delivery rates of 500 units for the M825A1 and M116A1, and 5,000 units for the M795 and M1128 assemblies. All responses must include detailed company capabilities and experience, and respondents must be registered in SAM.
