The U.S. Army is seeking sources to produce 120mm KE-W A1® and KE-W A4® tungsten cartridges, or equivalents, compatible with the M256 cannon and qualified for the Abrams M1A1 tank. The planned acquisition is a five-year Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract (FY28-33) for an estimated 4,000 cartridges per year. Interested firms must submit detailed technical solutions, production capabilities, and pricing information, including estimated monthly production quantities and minimum procurement quantity. Responses are due within 30 days of this publication, and all submissions must include company size classification and relevant experience. Performance of services is not specified, but the cartridges must meet U.S. Government performance specifications with export-controlled technical data.
