THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE of a proposed requirement regarding the Mossberg Shotgun Weapon systems (M500 and the M590/M590A1) and concurrent Spare Parts (CSP) kits. The U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey-Soldier Lethality (ACC-NJ-SL) in support of Program Manager for Soldier Lethality (PM-SL) intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Orders to O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Incorporated, 7 Grasso Ave, North Haven, CT 06473-3237 (Mossberg) for the purchase of Mossberg shotgun weapon systems (M500 and the M590/M590A1) and concurrent Spare Parts (CSP) kits comprised of repair/replacement parts for the above listed models. The Shotguns configurations, along with conversion kits, associated accessories and spare parts, and training under the authority of Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C) 3204(a)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The period of performance will be for up to sixty (60) months. This notice of intent is published in accordance with FAR 5.201 and is NOT a request for draft or formal competitive proposals. However, any proposal received will be considered. This PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Solicitation is planned to be issued in NOVEMBER 2024.
