Pre-Solicitation Synopsis for Impetus Software Licenses and Maintenance - W15QKN-24-R-0098 The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey on behalf of U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Armaments Center (AC) intends to issue a firm Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) solicitation, W15QKN-24-R-0098, to General Electric Company, 1 Neumann Way, Cincinnati, OH 45215-1915, to acquire repairs and maintenance, to ensure reliable and consistent operation for Arcam A2X Electron Beam Manufacturing Machine. A corresponding Sole Source Justification and Approval utilizing the authority FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii): Sole source (including brand name) acquisitions, acquisitions conducted under simplified acquisition procedures are exempt from the requirements in part 6 has been approved and is attached to this notice. The resultant Purchase Order will have a period of performance of one year with four (4) option years. The effort is UNCLASSIFIED, and performance will be at contractor facility. The applicable NAICS Code is 811310. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). Further, this synopsis should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered proposals/quotes and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
