The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is comtemplating award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract, with one (1) twelve (12) month base year, to be awarded on a sole source basis to USI Electronics (a division of Avnet Inc.), 2775 West Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 for the purchase of VxWorks support and maintenance in support of the US Army Combat Capability Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC). A corresponding Limiting Competition Justification and Approval utlizing the authority FAR 13.106-19b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization has been approved and a Solicitation for the aforementioned software is also attached to this notice. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. The NAICS code for this effort is 513210 and the size standard is $41.5M. All questions/responses must be received NO LATER than February 29th, 2024 by 3:00PM EST.
