The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM TAS) intends to issue a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP), W15QKN-23-R-0059, for the manufacturing, testing, inspection, packaging, and delivery of various forgings in support of the 155mm Cannon in accordance with the Government's Technical Data Package (TDP) and applicable contract requirements, which will be available upon solicitation release. The Unite States Government (USG) intends to award one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract as a result of this competition. The requirement supports the support and delivery of the following various forgings to include: (4) Forging, Breech Ring (4) Forging Breech Block (8) Carrier, Rough Machined (8) Spindle, Rough Machined (4) Muzzle Break, Rough Machined Please note, this announcement is issued for pre-solicitation notification purposes only and is not a formal request for competitive proposals, nor is the Government obligated to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses to this announcement are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government anticipates posting the RFP in 2QFY23.
