Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Unit Battery Replacement & Maintenance – Fort Dix, New Jersey This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or requests for quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain the following information: The availability and capability of qualified sources; Whether they are a small or large business relative to their size classification under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition (238210) with a small business size standard of $16,500,000.00. The United States Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (USACC-NJ) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice in an effort to conduct market research to aide in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for the procurement of UPS Unit Battery Replacement and Scheduled Maintenance; to be performed on Fort Dix, New Jersey in support of Local Network Enterprise Center – Fort Dix (LNEC-DIX). The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price requirements contract as a result of the forthcoming solicitation. The anticipated Period of Performance (PoP) is 12 months from the date of the formal award distribution. The Contractor shall provide the services and support for the replacement and testing of batteries in existing Eaton 9390 UPS units. The Contractor shall furnish, maintain, and replace, at its own expense any support equipment, vehicles, and any other equipment, material, and services not specified in the quote, necessary to perform all work required. Attached is a DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) for planning ONLY. No solicitation documents exist at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure this requirement or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this notice and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Submittal Requirements: 1. Contractor acknowledges a clear understanding of all tasks specified in the DRAFT PWS. 3. Contractor confirms full capability of completing the required work specified in the DRAFT PWS.
