The U.S. Army Contracting Command- New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) – Armaments Center at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ has a requirement for supplies, specifically, Ballistic Gelatin Powder for use as a standardized medium for testing the performance of firearms ammunition. The Government intends to award one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Ballistic Gelatin Powder, on a sole source bases to Custom Collagen, Inc., located at 1120 West Capitol Drive, Addison, Illinois 60101, U.S.A, a manufacturer of this supply. A Sole Source Justification was approved on December 10, 2021 pursuant to FAR 13.501 asserting Custom Collagen is the only source capable of providing the required equipment maintenance services.
